The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B020-AA-EN-GMS1 motor control drive is an adjustable frequency drive from the 1336 PLUS II series. It features a communication module that provides it with a single remote I/O communication port for communicating with other devices. The selectable motor control features on the 1336F-B020-AA-EN-GMS1 drive include the sensorless vector control option with full tuning and the Volts per Hertz control option that can be customized by the users. The sensorless vector control option is a type of flux vector control technology where the amplitude, frequency, and phase ratings of the voltage supply to the connector motor are all varied to control the connected motor’s speed. The Volts per Hertz control mode is a control method in which the voltage is varied along with the frequency in order to maintain a constant Volts to Hertz ratio. Open-loop Volts per Hertz control does not use feedback, and it only changes the voltage and frequency levels being applied to the motor based on an external speed command.
