The drive has been tested to meet the Council Directive 89/336 Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standard by using a technical construction file and the following standards: the EN 50081-1, 2 Generic Emission Standard and the EN 50082-1, 2 Generic Immunity Standard. It comes in a factory installed EMC-rated enclosure with an IP 20 ingress protection rating. The IP 20 ingress protection rating means that the drive has a small degree of protection from dust and debris but no protection from liquids. For this reason, the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-HAS2-L4 drive cannot be used outdoors and it should be mounted inside a cabinet with an appropriate protection rating in many indoor environments.
