The drive just needs a minimum of 6 inches of airflow space above and below it and a minimum of 4 inches of airflow space on either side of it to avoid overheating. To avoid output derating or component damage, the 1336F-B030-AE-EN-L5-MX3 drive should never be used at temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius. This drive’s simplified design eliminates as many internal connectors and wires as possible, which makes the drive easy to connect to a power supply and other devices and makes the drive easy to perform maintenance on.
