The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B030-AN-EN-HAS2-L6 drive from the 1336 PLUS II series can control induction motors that are significantly larger than it and significantly larger than drives of its size can normally control. This is due to the 1336F-B030-AN-EN-HAS2-L6 drive’s sensorless vector control technology which makes it possible for this compact drive to operate at higher torque levels than most compact drives, and it can utilize these high torque levels when it needs to start up or accelerate a large motor, to control a large motor load, or to control a motor that is being used in an application that has low speed requirements but high torque requirements. There is also another control technology supported by the 1336F-B030-AN-EN-HAS2-L6 drive which is known as the selectable Volts per Hertz control technology and which is a more standard type of motor control technology. The selectable Volts per Hertz control technology cannot match the sensorless vector control technology’s torque capabilities, but it can be customized by the drive’s users to meet the needs of most motor control-related applications that involve smaller motors or that do not have advanced torque requirements
