The users must therefore either install a blank cover plate to protect the HMI slot on the drive from dirt and moisture or install an optional HMI module. Installing a blank plate or an optional HMI is also critical for preventing accidental access to live drive parts. The drive has 2 slots for analog I/O interfaces that are known as Slot A and Slot B.
