The 1336F-B040-AA-EN-HAS2 controller’s motor deceleration or stopping options include DC injection braking and dynamic braking. Note that these braking options are meant to slow down and stop motors in normal operating conditions and that they are not designed to function as emergency-stopping options. Likewise, the MOV or the metal oxide varistor that is built into the 1336F-B040-AA-EN-HAS2 controller is meant to protect this controller from occasional voltage surges and to support phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground protection, but it is not designed for operating continuously.
