The Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II 1336F-B040-AX-EN910-L6 controller comes with Volts/Hertz control technology, sensorless vector control technology, and an AC control interface. Volts/Hertz control technology is the 1336F-B040-AX-EN910-L6 controller’s standard option for motor control because this technology can meet the needs of most standard induction motors. In some applications, the 1336F-B040-AX-EN910-L6 controller can control 2 or more induction motors at once with the Volts/Hertz control technology because this technology has the flexibility required to adapt itself to the specifications of all of the motors being used in the application as long as they are all standard motors. The Volts/Hertz control technology cannot be used for controlling very large induction motors or highly advanced induction motors because it cannot generate or support the high torque levels that large or highly advanced induction motors require. However, the sensorless vector control technology can generate and support the high torque levels, and so the 1336F-B040-AX-EN910-L6 controller can control large and advanced induction motors through its sensorless vector control technology.
