The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B050-AA-EN-LA4-L4 1336 PLUS II controller is designed to operate quietly and to control motors quietly. The power components in the 1336F-B050-AA-EN-LA4-L4 controller are isolated from the logic components and this eliminates interference which could cause electrical noise. The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-LA4-L4 controller also has IGBTs (insulated gate bipolar transistors) that support quiet motor operation with programmable carrier frequency. In most applications, the 1336F-B050-AA-EN-LA4-L4 controller functions as an induction motor controller and it has several built-in options for controlling different induction motors. This controller is also compatible with synchronous motors and permanent magnet motors, but several of its control options are not suitable for these kinds of motors and may damage them. The 1336F-B050-AA-EN-LA4-L4 controller can only control a synchronous motor in its Volts per Hertz mode.
