The Allen-Bradley 1336F-B050-AN-EN-GM1-HCS1-L6 1336 PLUS II controller can regulate the operating speed of different 3-phase induction motor models through a variety of operating modes, interfaces, and programmable features. The default operating mode of the 1336F-B050-AN-EN-GM1-HCS1-L6 controller includes powerful torque technology and it is called the SVC or “sensorless vector control†mode. The powerful torque technology supported by the SVC mode is ideal for starting up and controlling larger-than-average 3-phase induction motors and for powering 3-phase induction motors that have demanding torque requirements and difficult motor loads. The SVC mode is not suitable for every type of 3-phase induction motor, and it is not suitable for synchronous motors, but the 1336F-B050-AN-EN-GM1-HCS1-L6 controller also has a “Volts per Hertz†mode that the users can select instead of the default SVC mode if they need the controller to control a synchronous motor or an induction motor that does not need torque ratings or which is not suitable for the SVC mode’s high torque ratings.
