The Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS II 1336F-B050-AN-EN-GMS1-L6E controller is an induction motor control device that can also be configured to control other types of motors as well. It can control induction motors in both its sensorless vector and its Volts per Hertz operating modes, but it can only control non-induction motors such as synchronous motors in the Volts per Hertz mode. The Volts per Hertz mode includes all of the features that are compatible with synchronous motors and these features are easy to modify for custom application requirements. The Volts per Hertz mode also includes all of the customizable features that are compatible with standard induction motors, but it is not designed to handle induction motors which are larger than average. However, the 1336F-B050-AN-EN-GMS1-L6E controller can control the induction motors that are larger than average when the controller operates in the sensorless vector mode because this mode includes several advanced torque features that are capable of matching the torque requirements of large induction motors.
