The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1336F-BRF150-AA-EN-GMS6-LS is a variable speed AC drive. The drive can be used in a load sharing mode by using the torque trim follower technique. This technique can also be applied on other drives in the Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS 2 family that the 1336F-BRF150-AA-EN-GMS6-LS is a member of. The torque trim follower load sharing technique allows the master drive to be operated in speed regulation, and then the follower drives are operated in speed regulation mode with a speed trim. With this technique, the speed of the follower drive is trimmed by using an error that is generated by comparing the torque currents of the master and the follower units. With Allen-Bradley 1336 PLUS 2 drives like the 1336F-BRF150-AA-EN-GMS6-LS, the process PI loop of the follower unit is utilized by comparing the current signals (torque) of the drives and using the results to formulate an error signal which is consequently used to trim the speed.
