The 1336S-BRF50-AE-DE5 drive is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Allen-Bradley. Variable frequency drives or adjustable frequency drives power induction motors where the speed of the motor is controlled by regulating the frequency of the power supply. To obtain constant torque, the voltage is varied in order to keep the v/f ratio constant. The 1336S-BRF50-AE-DE5 drive modulates both frequency and voltage by using PWM. The drive can be used to ramp down the frequency and the voltage to meet the requirements of the electric motors. It can also turn up or turn down the motor speed to meet the application speed requirements. The 1336S-BRF50-AE-DE5 drive’s input voltage ranges from 380 to 480 Volts AC which in turn generates 5 Horsepower of output. This drive is manufactured in German as the default language. The drive meets all the EMC requirements. Mounting of the drive in a different location is possible by using the Panel mounting and it comes with an IP 20 rated enclosure.
