The Allen-Bradley 150-A35NBDD is an SMC PLUS series Motor Controller. This controller is used to perform soft start of 3-phase AC motors rated up to 25 Horsepower (22 kW) rated. Its input terminals can be connected to 380 to 480 Volts AC 3-phase, 50 to 60 Hertz voltage (voltage tolerance is -15% to 10%). The motor can pull up to 35 Amps from this non-combination solid-state controller. The Allen-Bradley 150-A35NBDD solid-state controller features Smart Motor Braking (SMB) option. It has specially designed stopping program incorporated in microprocessor’s logic. This is particularly useful for applications that require fast stopping. This can be applied to hammermills, centrifuges, bandsaws, and ball mills. With this controller, there is no need for any additional equipment because breaking is performed extremely fast over control of the current sent to the motor. This module performs 3 most commonly used starting control modes - soft start (with selectable kick-start), current limit start, and full voltage start. The controller has an IP00 open enclosure. For setting up, you have available one DIP switch and 3 rotary digital switches – current limit / initial torque, kickstart
