The Allen-Bradley 150-B135NCR SMC Dialog Smart Motor Controller is an intelligent solid-state motor starter which is used for providing microprocessor starting for 3-phase induction motors. It has a modular design that comprises a self-containing control module and a power module installed on a heatsink. This control module provides microprocessor-controlled operation, including SCR pulse firing. The 150-B135NCR has a nominal current rating of 135 Amps, with a 3-phase voltage class of 200 to 575 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz frequency, and it has an output power range of 5 to 100 Horsepower at 480 Volts AC. To accommodate a wide variety of applications, the 150-B135NCR is designed with 2 and 3-wire configuration, and it is also designed to provide a soft start with a selectable kick-start, a current limit start, a dual ramp start, and a full voltage start mode as the standard starting modes.
