The module is a support device to Allen-Bradley’s ControlLogix PLCs. It helps in interfacing these processors with other devices that use Modbus Plus protocol. The MVI56-MBP supports both master and slave devices, enabling easy connection to Modicon processors and many other Modbus devices. It acts as a gateway between the ControlLogix backplane and the Modbus Plus network. The device has memory with 4000 words register, with the main function to exchange data
